A textile reinforcement method for 3D printed concrete

چکیده
The reinforcement of 3D printed concrete elements has proven to be a significant challenge that needs addressed. However, before can applied, the behaviour consequent composite materials must first studied. This study, therefore, investigates macromechanical AR glass fibre textile material as in terms its flexural performance, determine whether it is feasible solution. During this elements, consisting four layers, are flat on surface bed printer and reinforced by mesh between subsequently layers. specimens at different locations, with geometrical orientations well filament orientations, then compared. performance quantified conducting four-point bending tests 28 days after printing. results show adding specific mesh, average strength increases significantly. Furthermore, warp yarns aligned have increased strength. testing, also discovered voids form underneath when applied layers these influence elements.

The Material Deposition Method (MDM) is enjoying increasing attention as an additive method to create concrete mortar structures characterised by a high degree of form-freedom, a lack of geometrical repetition, and automated construction. Several small-scale structures have been realised around the world, or are under preparation. However, the nature of this construction method is unsuitable fo...

Abstract—Reinforced concrete has been mainly used in construction field because of excellent durability. However, it may lead to reduction of durability and safety due to corrosion of reinforcement steels according to damage of concrete surface. Recently, research of textile is ongoing to complement weakness of reinforced concrete. In previous research, only experiment of longitudinal length we...

Wepresent the possibilities of 3Ddirect-write dispensing in the fabrication of passiveUHFRFIDgraphene tags on a textile substrate. In our method, the graphene tag antenna is deposited directly on top of the IC strap, in order to simplify the manufacturing process by removing one step, that is, the IC attachment with conductive glue. Our wireless measurement results confirm that graphene RFID ta...

Background Along with the advances in technology of three-dimensional (3D) printer, it became a possible to make more precise patient-specific 3D model in the various fields including oral and maxillofacial surgery. When creating 3D models of the mandible and maxilla, it is easier to make a single unit with a fused temporomandibular joint, though this results in poor operability of the model. H...
متن کاملTextile Reinforced Concrete – Realization in applications
Textile Reinforced Concrete (TRC) is a composite material made of open-meshed textile structures and a fine-grained concrete. Comparable to steel reinforcement the textile fabric bears the tensile forces released by the cracking of the concrete. Only a minimal concrete cover is required for the bond of the textile fabrics. Thus, the application of TRC leads to the design of filigree and lightwe...
